.:. The Bitch Day Starts With .:.
Hey peeps!! Its been some time since i've updated... A real long time... So here i am...
been doin a lot of things ever since i finished my NS.. Realie bz...Started work as a cook at a coffeeshop in geylang during the start of the year, n it was a good experience. Got to know how things work at a coffeeshop, learnt how to make teh tarik n all the other drinks at the coffeshop too. N i have to admit, i can whip up a mean dish of tom yam u noe. Well, there are a lot of dishes i learnt to cook there n a lot of new frens i made. The only problem was that its too far for me n so, now i'm workin at SWENSEN'S at Holland V.
SWENSEN'S is ok, only that i'm the only Malay cook there, so its quite boring. Chinese guys don't bitch bout the same things malay guys do... heheheh... But so far, its been quite fun, only very tiring. N from the feedback i received, i'm doin a good job there so far... i hope i can keep it up n last long there, coz the pay sucks... its a measly pay, n i feel like i'm overworked n underpaid, but i guess that's the price to pay to learn...
It's not that i can't get other better payin jobs, but i'm just not the type of guy who gives up after a while n quit. It's just not my style... I'm not a quitter, n i don't want others to have that impression on me... Sometimes, circumstances made me feel like i'm not cut out for this, n that i'm just wasting my time, but the compliments i get pushes me harder n gives me the determination to prove to myself n every1 else that i can be a great cook, n i WILL achieve my dreams... "Your hands were MADE for cooking..." That was a comment i got n cannot forget... Perseverance... That's wat i need to focus on rite now... I guess that's all for now... maybe i'll update in another 3 months... hahahhaha... Take care y'all... Adiosz...
